Friendly reminder that when (not if) governments start cracking down on cryptocurrency, privacy coins are going to become extremely valuable to to individuals that want to hide their wealth and protect themselves.
The only privacy coin worth its salt: Monero. period.

Honest question, how is xmr more cucked than zcash when xmr isn’t allowed on coinbase whereas zcash is?

Is there any noncucked privacy coin

>> No.13696536

>>13696471 XMR isn't allowed on coinbase because its ACTUALLY private by default and ACTUALLY does as advertised. Zcash is a sad excuse for a privacy coin for many reasons, the main ones being: the trusted setup, not private by default, founders reward (which introduces centralization issues), and Zooko himself said he would be willing to put a backdoor in the coin for the government. Get real people, this is not a privacy coin.

It's not, he's just a retarded troll. Monero is the best crypto for storing wealth privately and making private transactions. Even if you are just washing bitcoin, it's the best there is.

Thanks, could monero be a better store of value than btc?

Ill look into it but I’m curious, I don’t like the idea of random people being able to see how much you hold of an asset. Does anyone think the btc shilling in media is an unintentional psyop to covince people that btc (trackable, transparent, boomer-approved) and ignore xmr?

Not sure about that specifically but I could definitely see some bad dystopian shit going down in the future with everyone's balances open for the world to see on the btc public ledger.

hard to say they had a fork that fucked me over hard since I had plans on holding but now all ive got is some useless classic. btc could very well be an example or become one in the future of what happens when you try and go against the dollar. I think this is the first wave of crypto currency and once quantum computing rears its ugly head it will decimate whats left until quantum crypto takes its place.

It's going to be more volatile, so in terms of pure storage of value, probably not. In terms of privacy though? Definitely.

Unless you sold the original monero then you still have it. Just update your wallet. The alt-monero variants are all scams.

There’s no such thing as ‘separate’ transactions on the Bitcoin blockchain you stupid fuck. Any address’ incomings and outgoings are fully visible. You think having a ‘shopping’ address funded from your big main stash is invisible? LMAO

I was dumb enough to fall for the genesis mining ponzi scheme so I cant get anything but the alt and even that they wont give.
