Hello /biz/arros. My new goal in 2019 is to setup a few mining rigs with 4x 8 GTX 1060 6GB

The hardware is already there, but now I'm looking into setting them up. What is the easiest OS to use and set them up?
I'm able to get a room for 200 bucks per month with free electricity.

Is it worth to grab ETHos? Should I just run them in windows?

(Got the Miners really cheap, but have no idea of setting them up)

I'll gladly take any advice.

we don't mine here. just buy chainlink.

How much did you pay
I'm interested too because I have free electricity but can't be too loud

How much does it make a month op before electricity is accounted for

if u r able to learn basics of linux (its quite simple) u can use hiveOS, otherwise just use windows10 + anyDesk/teamViewer to monitor them.
with mining its really simple: less effort less money: u go for ETH
More effort, more money: u mine shitcoins. i.e.
ive been mining NIMIQ coin for past 2-3 months with my 2060 cards (they crash argon2d so its most profitable for me), but there were people who mined i.e. RVN coin before the pump. in the beggning u mine lets say 3$/day but after a pump and with right sell order u actually mined 38$/day. with ETH u might get x5-10, with shitcoins? sky is the limit, yet remember shittier the coin, more time u need for supervision of the rigs. eth miners might not crash at all during one month and those minig shit coins can crash every single fuckin day (i had this issue with nimiq, but finally got a good pool and a good miner)
im glad ive started mining cos it actually give u a peace of mind. ive stopped stressing and ive stopped worrying. im mining 400$/month IN CRYPTO, and the coins i mine have good fundamentals and i will stick with them till the end of 2019. i spend like 1-2 hours a day supervising them yet right now its flawless. i even want to buy more 1660ti to mine nimiq as i really fell good vibes for this project.
ive used to trade but i was really bad at that due to the stress of missing out the train etc. now i mine and ive started to trade more as i fell kind of secured?
AMA as ive started mining from scratches..

kind of true but still mining ETH is profitable with a cheap access to electricity..?

No hashrate loss with windows 10? Still kind of irritated with setting them up. But I guess I need to start somewhere.

Radeon vii gets 90-100 mh/s for $680 a card on ethereum.

true,
ive remember that in the beggning ive used 7970 on win and god like 15 MH and with hiveOS and ethminer i got almost 25. but this card is fuckold so hard to say.
im planning to run nimiq on hiveos with those 2060 but still cant find time to do that. and im quite linux noob, i remember i had problems with updating GPU drivers. if u have more than one rig, set 80% of them on windows, have fun with it and use one for linux tests. and remember that windows let u make mistakes in OC. cos its only software i.e. in afterburner. so i would start with windows.
