If you have no idea what you're doing then buy all ETH or BTC, and watch the markets for awhile. Be aware that just about everyone telling you what to do is doing it for personal gain and greed and not to help you. That's why going into the biggest coins is the best bet since they're the least likely to suddenly tank on you. But nothing is 100% safe, of course.
