From this point on, where blocks are already full, the fees wont just go up linearly with more transactions. People are going to outbid others to get their tx on the blocks. The fees are going to go parabolic again.
This is until, they are too high for a lot of people to want to use the network and suddenly interest in BTC fades. As a result, less people will make BTC txs, blocks wont be full again, the herd notices and people come running back. This could repeat for a few times until people realize that BTC just not reliable to use as a means of wealth transfer.

In the end, either block size is increased or other coins manage to take over and BTC loses its spot forever.
