if you have like 10k you can be making $15 per order placed, automatically 24/7 forever and literally set a limit stop 1 pip above/below and still be in profit. This doesn't include the funding rate which, if you stay on the right side, will pay even more.

yeh ok... except maker rebate is 0.075%. bitcoin is notorious for being volatile. there is no guarantee you get filled on your limit stop. so if you dont get filled and bitcoin dumps 20% without you getting filled, you need more than 200 profitable limit trades to make that back again.

Honestly, this market is so volatile that you're going to get rekt if it swings unexpectedly. Your best bet would be to look for sideways patterns and do small, low-risk swing trades. But again, these markets are so small that a single whale can fuck up your year in moments.

Alternatively you can build a neural network in python and use training data from some public API's. Run it against historical data simulated to be real-time, give it some fake funds and have it do trades. At some point it should theoretically give you a bot that knows how to trade patterns that humans can't even see. Python has neural networking libraries to help you with this.

the amount is irrelevant. the % is what matters. you just make the bot constantly place orders (i guess whenever one isnt open)

maker rebate is 0.075% of your _position_ size, so you want leverage but low. take it on both long and short (settings to allow this). Whenever an order gets actually placed, just place the same size order on the other side of the trade to close it.

make the bot detect volume changes, and either get out and wait for the storm to pass, or replace with market stops so you dont get wiped out.

There is little risk other than volatility which this anon pointed out. The reward is very low, but can be automated and go on forever if you code it right.

Describe step by step how you do a winning trade, really describe the strategy step by step.

Example:

Step 1: open a buy pending order 1% above market price
Step 2: open a short pending order 1% below market price
Step 3 if X happens then do this, If Y happens then do that....

I've got a working options trading bot. It makes money on 60% the Canadian equities. However running it on all the market would be expensive at my level and I can't pitch for shit latwly but I'm working on drinking less fwiw.

From the performance graphs I've got a couple ideas on how to tweak it. I'm looking at testing its sector based performance, doing dispersion trading or feeding it to a machine learning algorithm such as sairen.
