Ask a poorfag from South-eastern Europe(Bulgaria), holding 0.3 BTC anything. If you're considering moving to live in a cheap "white" country I could answer your questions.

Can you own guns or are you eternally cucked by your government? Taxes (esp capital gains)? How safe is it there if you are not a complete dickhead?

>> No.13477001

>>13476974
Gun ownership is problematic here. Getting a permit to own a weapon is tough and basically you gotta have some connections. Taxes are 10% flat, e.g. if I sell bitcoin for over $6000 i have to declare it to our own "irs" and pay that 10%. As far as safety is concerned i'd say that in the big cities is pretty safe. I live in the capitol and never had issues, ofc there are some "bad" neighborhoods with elevated crime rate but as long as you avoid those you are good.

additionally, the bulgarian people are pretty open and friendly to foreigners in general. I see more and more foreigners coming to live here, namely in Sofia, Plovdiv, Veliko Tarnovo.

Do you hold just BTC or does "0.3 BTC" mean "0.3 BTC worth of crypto?"

I have 0.15 in Eth and XMR, the rest is BTC.

When did you start accumulating? Pre or post 2017 bubble? How'd you hear about crypto?

>> No.13477048

>>13477032
I started accumulating in October 2017 if memory serves me right but accumulating is an over stretch. I would throw a few bucks here and there as I wagecuck for slightly above the average salary in Sofia. I've known about bitcoin since 2014 but never took much interest in it(similar to many)

Aha, so you are post BCH split, which explains why you don't hold any BCH/BSV. I suppose you think those ledger forks will definitely fail?

>> No.13477114

>>13477079
Depends what qualifies as "fail". I think there will be some people using the blockchains but I don't think it is reasonable to presume they could compete with the legacy chain. I think people in this space are starting to smarten up. As far as I am concerned I am not really interested in forked coins and erc-20 tokens

>> No.13477141

>>13477079
and to add - I dont think I will ever buy any of those simply because of all the noise around those forks and the front people of those forks. In general I detest such a blatant behavior driven by greed.

BSV is retarded levels of attention seeking but in the case of BCH they are honestly the genuine bitcoin fork and coretards are like rabid leftists trying to destroy their freedom of speech while acting like a cult.

How would you compare Bulgaria to other places like Romania, Czechia, Poland, Hunagary, etc?

>> No.13477389

>>13477333
All of those countries are ahead of us unfortunately, economically speaking. Romania is similar to Bulgaria in terms of labour market I think. Both Bulgaria and Romania are unironically turning into the outsourcing hub of the Balkans. Foreigners with English and second language here are getting paid 1,5 - 2k euros/month which is close to 4000 BGN. For reference, a decent apartment(one bedroom) to rent costs 600BGN/month.

In your experience is this chart accurate and where would you put BGR?

Do you think Bulgaria and Romania will catch up due to the rise in outsourcing, like China has been?

>> No.13477459

I have considered moving to bulgaria since 0% tax on pensions compared to 27% here, also 10% on capital gain is pretty juicy.
I've heard that pollution levels especially during the winder are the worst in eu is that true?

>> No.13477572

>>13477458
BGR should be somewhere around 95 imo and I dont think outsourcing would help that much. What is being outsourced are basically low quality jobs but still here is cheaper to outsoutce compared to the Western countries.
>>13477459
Unfortunately yes. During winter time the quality of breathable air in Sofia is terrible, however, the subway network gets bigger with the hopes to alleviate the daily traffic and help reduce CO2 emissions. Time will tell.

Where do you find so cheap apartments? I used to pay 1000bgn/month in Sofia center for a 1BR that was not even very nice.

Would you say real estate is a good investment in Sofia?
