I unironically need a quick rundown on what the fuck you guys are talking about. I don't understand any of your terminology. Please take me through the basics so I can at least understand what you guys talk about, I just want to understand stock investment.

index/mutual funds/etf/reit/dividend stocks good.

that's about all you need to know to start investing.

single stocks in general are not a good idea compared to etf's for newfags, and doing calls/puts etc on single stocks is a really bad idea when you don't know what you're doing yet.

just get a robinhood account and lurk the stock market general bread.
