Sorry, my answer was vague but sincere. I've been holding for a while so I'd still be up in that scenario.
If you're confident we'll dump quite a bit lower, don't buy in at this price, at least not with all your cash. I myself have small buy orders on the ETH chart at various prices below where we are, just in case.

The swap will happen within the next couple months, and will last quite a long time, both token and fuel will be active and tradeable on a 1:1 basis for a while, so I wouldn't worry too much.

It will happen automatically on exchanges like binance, but you can redeem fuel back for HOT at any time for trading purposes. This is just "until the network matures" or something, - there will be a cutoff deadline at which point HOT will be burnt.
