Think about it. Everybody is selling off their Tether for (primarily) Bitcoin. This raises the price of Bitcoin slightly, as long as it can keep up with the selling pressure of people getting out of Bitcoin for real fiat (USD/EUR etc.). Soon enough most of the Tether will have been sold off and the price will start to collapse as the selling for fiat continues.

Look at real volume. Bitfinex is the second largest exchange by real volume. The numbers on CMC are fake.

If you hadn't noticed by now crypto is entirely manipulated with 99% fake volume.

It never goes up or down on any news anymore, not like before.

People are buying coins to get out of tether exchanges. The tether news is unironically holding up the market right now, but probably not for long
