Chainlink can start the bullrun. It's the catalyst.

No other coin has done it besides Bitcoin. Why would this case be any different?

The answer is no, singularity cannot happen outside of the bullrun. That is why we have to wait until AT LEAST August, but realistically the end of Q4 for the beginning of the bullrun to commence and thus the singularity. Honestly, I hope mainnet is delayed until November, because we will not get a good jump out of it in the overall market is collapsing in June.

If main net drops, I don't see why not. We'll have cash to crypto for the first time, dexes will become useful and smart contracts will be a thing with or without BTC. It will start the bull, all depending on when they drop it. I'm not sure how anyone could refute that, there is so much value waiting to pour into the ecosystem and it has nothing to do with BTC (unless a smart contract wanted to write to that chain), so I think that's why there's so much secrecy around the main net date, because all of crypto is waiting for it.
And we all know it which is why were are all pic related by this point. Just waiting for main net.

The halving was huge in 2017 but ICOs made a bigger splash. BTC only pulled a 10-20x and ETH did over 100X. I think these events work in conjunction, I can see a mini moon for LINK this year as it becomes active and then leading up to the halvening in 2020 BTC should catch up and it should be game time.

BAT has the user base it be a cayalyst itself, plus it's much easier for Normie Normanson to understand and get JOe Youtube to shill it.

No problem, it has gotten hard to stick around here but worth it for a few more months probably.
It's a good question to ask and I think about it a lot, and have decided to hold only LINK.
You can see ETH 10x'd in sats from April to June. BTC halved in July 2016, ETH got the head start, and I think LINK will too, when the big guys jump in while everyone is still watching BTC. Smart contracts are moving forward stealthily, regardless of what BTC does.

It's gotten hard to stick around but will be worth it for a few more months probably. You can see here, BTC halved in July 2016 and didn't affect ETH sat price. ETH had that mad jump against BTC April 2017 and that's what I'm looking for with LINK.

i'm convinced at this point that the only thing that will trigger the price singularity is the tokenomics. given everything we concretely know about chainlink that is publicly available and shilled on twitter endlessly there's no reason we shouldn't be well over $1, and yet link cannot sustain a pump. there are tons of linklets swing trading every pump in an attempt to accumulate and the price is manipulated by whales, so we're quite literally too smart of money to allow the price to explode.

Perhaps. But sometimes quality>quantity and I’d argue that large institutions making low frequency but high value transactions with chain link would be even more disruptive. Being the industry standard across many industries, and enabling real, useful mainstream use cases for crypto would set into motion a massive bull market, dwarfing the last
