>How do you make so little money and pay such cheap rent?
de-facto minimum wage + not working full time. rent is cheap cause i have a tiny council housing flat in a cheap area. a medium sized flat would be 500€ upwards. rent/property prices have soared the last 2 decades but council housing keeps a lid on it
>I thought Austria was rich like Switzerland
austria is mostly comparable with germany or large parts of the US, the swiss are just filthy rich

>> No.13265307

>>13265213
tell me that's not a full time wage

Council housing is so based. Germany used to have it until the 80's/90's but then they had to sell it all to corporations for a quick buck.

And now they're talking about expropriating these corporations because they're rent gougings, kek.

Here's a random thought. Gonna place this chair against the door and spunk your every hole before security even noticed the door is shut, and nothing under your power can possibly hope to stop it, bitch.

they're talking about introducing an option to buy those council flats here, as well, which would mean less and less of them would be available in the long run. plus they havent really built any new ones in the last 40 years or so. so we're probably headed towards a similar situation

i'm all for measures to provide affordable housing to people who need it desperately but expropriation is just fucked imo. i like the idea of doing a tax hike on properties that are purposely kept untenanted just so property value in general goes up, that shit's just evil. people working 50-60 hours laying brick should be able to afford a roof above their head

> mfw my gramps, a metalworker, could afford a big ass property + to build a house on it
> property cost then: 30.000 schilling, roughly 20.000 € in today's money
> property value today: 200.000 €
