The next cycle (the one we're in) will be shorter than the last, or no longer, because of the dramatically increased awareness and expectations.

After that, the bear which follows the next peak will be much longer than this one - a good few years.

Things will not just follow that log meme chart which has perfectly predictable cycles of increasing length each time.


This cycle will be shorter; we are already bull.

Then another bear for several years. At this point, the crypto market will become "matured" and largely not worth our time.

BTC has been a floating currency since it began trading against the USD.
This will eventually come to an end when the BTC/USD balance is achieved, or BTC is hedged against a stable asset. Since there's really no asset aside from caloric/energy costs that remains stable, and dollarydoos keep getting printed and minted, the price of BTC will continue to rise - forever.
The only thing worth doing is accumulation of more BTC or other cryptos. Forget about the dollar. It will die eventually.

To the contrary. Bitcoin has been deemed dead so many times now, increasingly by bigger amounts of people, that the next time it hits ATH the constant fear of not owning any Bitcoin (because it always recovers) will be widely understood.
