He's smart but he's by no means a genius. If you don't have a background in finance then I'd imagine most of the things he says sound like facts. There are always two sides to the story/news, but he's only telling you the side that fits his narrative. If you listened for hours to a very opionated astrophysicist's opinion of a very controversial theory then you'd probably end up agreeing with him (assuming you don't have a deep understanding of physics yourself). Especially if he only presented the evidence for (or against) the theory. In general, you should be very careful listening to people in finance who refuse to even entertain the thought that they might be wrong. NO ONE knows for sure what is going to happen with the economy/the markets.
