LINK Marines, we have a new competitor on the block.

Lets FUD this POS coin into obliteration.

Oh nice. Another project that will have to admit publicly to using link in a few months.

BCPT is unironically a good buy, at 5m marketcap, on Binance, ETH co-founder as advisor, churning out working products etc.
BCPT link isn't in competition with Chainlink, but it's still worth looking into.

uhh.... guys?

I think this might be a mere addition to chainlink, read the fucking site. It's to help brainlets like you and me make our own smart contracts without having to know all the nerdy programming shit. Basically like an easy to use interface that they must have decided (ethcc colorado drama anyone?) would've been another project in itself possibly outsourced. I think the Tron rumour has a strong correlation with their roadmap with a VERY interesting mainnet release.

"Link creates classic, conventional web-based APIs for any smart contract written on a programmatic blockchain."

They're not trying to even do anything with oracles, this is basically just having an easy "website" to use. API as in when you're on foot locker shopping for shoes and you click the shoes and then click the buy button.

Also they aren't focusing on "The Oracle Problem" but seems to be a gesture towards chainlink with the mimicking.

>"Why Link is the Solution
No Blockchain Experience Required
Link makes blockchain development accessible to anyone with traditional programming experience. There’s also no servers or web infrastructure to maintain or monitor."

>"Just Like Any Other Web API
With Link, developers and users alike can interact with smart contracts like any other web API. [READ THIS] There are no cryptocurrencies to acquire [READ THIS] browser plugins to install or other unnecessary hurdles."

>"A Familiar, Easier App Experience
Link allows developers to offers users a familiar and streamlined web-based user experience. The blockchain — and its complexities — are invisible to app users."

It's also a subsidiary of blockmason

>> No.13151348

It's a development tool. You pay them to use their SaaS and their software creates a contract for you and does all the hard, expert-type work of creating, interacting with, and reading the (Ethereum) blockchain.

It looks like centralized. Like, even if you pay them in fiat, they buy their LINK tokens and use them on your behalf.

It's unfortunate that they are using the LINK name.

>> No.13151551

Has nothing to do with LINK and off-chain data, it's a software-as-a-service project, meant to make interfacing with smart contracts easier for devs and end-users. Which is actually good for the LINK ecosystem, since 90% of smart contracts users will end up using LINK anyway.

Their token is named BLINK, kek
They should just rebrand, this is gonna get confusing after LINK moons and is recognized as the standard.

really just think it's another company trying to do their own thing? How else would a web-based interface work? Our inputs have to be logged too right?
