Is it possible for US Debt to go parabolic, like go from 23 trillion to 44 trillion in a year? How would you profit off such a thing?

more debt means more gov spending. find what the gov is spending money on and device ur plan from there. ur question is too broad. there is infrastructure military, education, social security and just plain ol breuacracy. to profit you need to align ur services directly with what the gov.is providing. like pajeet gas stations profiting off of snap. or defence contractors getting paid off of engineering death machines. the scope can be very small to huge depending on what you want to do.

Very simple.
Public debt = Private savings
Public debt is computed as the sum of all coins, bank deposits and bonds.
Therefore more public debt means more money in circulation so on average you are gonna be "richer" (in that specific currency).
Way to profit the most from it is to figure out where most of the new public debt money is flowing to (Healthcare? Defense? Pumping stock market?) and align accordingly.
If instead the higher amount of public cebt is not used nationally but to pay foreign creditors, that will result in devaluation of the currency on forex, so you should hedge for that.

Anyway on average remember that more "public debt" is a positive thing as long as exchange rate is still solid, it just means more money in circulation
