>Chugging through senior year,
>Turn 18 :) but never worked a job :(
>Father is absolutely fucking livid at my mother
>"WHERE THE FUCK IS MY MONEY??"
>Find out that my mother sent $11,000 to Facebook scammer
>$11,000 is ENTIRE SAVINGS ACCOUNT
>Father's new job does not pay for bills like the last job did, also in mortgage debt.
I have maybe some prospects, I took a vocational class in 11th grade for programming and passed the NOCTI with a certification in Java if that's worth anything.
Also program for an FRC team, not sure if that would do anything on a resume.
Can't go to college or a trade school because asset poverty.
How did you guys grind it out without any money to start, what should I do?

Sometimes you do what you have to do until you can do what you want to do. Look for labor jobs like construction, landscaping (good summer work for your age) and the like. Continue to get your tech skills up while you're working. Ignore wage slave posts and keep moving

Just go study abroad. There are a lot of countries that are very cheap .You will finish with minimal college debt and giving your parents some financial room to breath.

It's so easy to get stuck in a temporary dead-end job (I know a lot of people that said they where just going to do X for one year and are still there).

Short term, if you have any savings just help your family when you can. Pay for their weekly grocery's or the fuel when you can. Those small things can really make a difference.

It takes a long time to understand the stock market as a "money maker" if this is a consideration of yours, the best advice is not to play the market but to BE the market. What I mean by this is, the markets, in time, will always go up, because growth is eternal and unavoidable. Yes, there will be crests and troughs but overall, it is a fact that humanity will grow. In order to capitalize on this with little expertise, you want a little piece of everything with the least fees attached. ETF index funds. These will make you a part owner in all of the most successful companies in the world at a very low expense.
>Time in the market>timing the market
Absolute rule 1 for beginners. Trust that overall growth is inevitable as the population and its needs and demands grow.
This is where diversification comes in.
Before you undetstand economics, or even if you never do, the understanding that growth is inevitable will set you up for success.
Grab a small piece of everything.
Or to simplify,
Become a part owner of the top 500 companies in the US with an s&p index fund and if you need to hedge it, do it with bonds.
That is the best intro to investing i can give you without recommending a reading list.

Brother, leave your home and build your own. Your parents are obviously not real adults. That's not your fault, it's just the way it is. You must understand that you're not responsible for them - leave, and once you make it, don't let them guilt trip you into anything. Give back whatever you want to give but always remember that your mom thought it's a good idea to send a whole bunch of money, money that could pay for some of your college, to a stranger on the internet.

I've seen many good men break because their parents became an immense burden on them, usually because the parents simply weren't capable. Don't let them hold you back.

I am white male, living in a third world country. I am trying as hard as I can to get a remote job and earn a living in USD or Euro to beat my country's absolute shit exchange rate, I have a couple of really good business ideas and the ideas I had in the past have been a couple of years before someone else tried it. I am mildly racist because of how crime has fucked me over. I am a couple of years away from 30.

I am a college drop out. My IQ is 145. I was abused as a child and can't beat my chronic procrastination and self defeatism because of it which made me drop out of university because I wanted to fail, I wanted my abusers to be mad at me for failing them but I just fucked myself over in the end. I am in a LTR with a 7/10 white girl who has a stable job and loves me very much because for some reason I was born kinda handsome, she believes in me a lot more than I do in myself and that puts pressure on me to achieve "something" because I want to take care of her but I constantly fuck myself over.

I have read the intelligent investor and Warren Buffets bio and done a couple of MOOC's about investing but no matter what I do I can't get "motivated" enough to actually make money. I enjoy my shitty escapism too much.

You cannot hurt me more than I have been hurt or have been hurting myself.

Play it safe and get a job you're semi overqualified for and work on side projects or education at community college until you feel ready to step up. Rinse repeat until you get to a comfortable level.

Online applications are number games. You should pump out 10 online apps a day. If you aren't getting responses, tweak your resume a tiny bit: never change too much at once

Good luck. I'm sorry this shit happened.

look nigger, you're 18. Chances are no matter what you try aint gonna make money. Work your ass off for 4-5 years and if you're smart you'll make it.

If you start working your ass off now you could also get lucky and make bank within 6 months. My first venture took 6 months and made me 350k when I was 19, then I got a dry spell for like 5 years.

Biz is hard and highly luck dependent. I do marketing/programming, any scam you might have heard of like dropshipping and affiliate marketing I've done extensively.

definitely not, first off, if you're low IQ, you're fucked, you'll never make money.

What you want is figure out a high value skilled you can learn in 6 months, then get paid for it. Could be true a job, business, freelance, internships, working for free, whatever floats your boat.

One thing is you should NEVER do anything that is mindless, you hire low IQ people to do this while you keep learning and improving your earning potential or your brand.

I dont know much about wage cucking, I started my first biz at 19 made 350k and never looked back, but if I were to start again and HAD to wage cuck, wasnt allowed to learn a skill or start a business, heres what I'd do, I'd get a job at mcdonalds or walmart, learn everything about this low IQ job in 1 week, then I'd quit and rinse repeat at 5-10 of the stores, then with this global experience I would have increased my market value by a shitload in 3 months and probably would be ready to be a manager or consultant for a similar biz. I'd get a job managing then learn everything about managing in 1 month then quit and repeat at managing a new place. I'd keep doing that and climb the echelons, basically quitting as soon as I've learned everything about the work, and either get a new job somewhere else that requires the exact same credentials. Your credentials should have increased enough after 5-6 similar jobs where you soaked in all possible knowledge to get another, better job. Business isn't for everyone, some people are made for wage cucking, doesn't mean you can't game the system and climb the echelons fast.

getting eyeballs to your product at a profitable rate is 99% of running a business. No one that has a profitable strat will tell you how to do it online, because as soon as this strategy gets out, everyone will jump on it and kill it within weeks. The only advice I have is to try hundreds of different client acquisition strategies until you find one that can be automated at a profitable rate. Networking is also key, most of the profitable eyeball getting strategies I've used over the years I stole from people blabbling too much at meetups, friends of friends, etc. You wont learn anything useful online, all strats are already dead, but people IRL will reveal their secrets without thinking about it for some reason.

The best strats are random ass shit that no one knows about.

note that this will only work if you're smart and work 14h a day and constantly lie to every employer. You'd need to basically fuck them over, do no work, learn everything they have to teach, apply for jobs and peace out impromptu to do interviews during your work hours. To get ahead you gotta be willing to do what most people are too stupid and too pussy to do. You'd probably literally be applying and interviewing for jobs 40 hours a week, while also working 40 hours a week. But the only successful people I know work every hour of every day (14h a day 7 day a week) and so do I.
