Being 31 and having worked in office settings since i was an intern as a teenager, there's not much here that I don't already know. However I'm very glad that somebody typed it all up and summarized it for the people who have less experience so they don't have to reinvent the wheel when they end up in a field where they're in an office as well.

Firsr standout moment before I realized how to blend in with the rest of the imbeciles was co-workers more than twice my age cornering me in an elevator insisting I work slower because I'm making them look bad. I was 16 lol.

this is a good post. I was a clueless for my first 2 years. worked super hard and got a ton of clout. the clout never became pay or promotions because I was still brand new to the office and they unironically have LIMITS DUE TO TIME IN OFFICE for promotions so i became a loser who did low tier work for 1+ year. now leaving for another job with higher pay hoping to become socio. but who knows maybe i'll be clueless again
