What do you think they used in the Swift PoC?

Here's their announcement, with link to the actual code of V1.0:

I know the fundamentals. I've seen the Saudis and the chinks looking into it. I understand the ideal place it's in.

But I'm still fearful and uncertain.

I know things and all i can tell you is that what is audited and what is mainnet is a branch without aggregation, mainnet will be released WITHOUT decentralized nodes. Chainlink partners will use their own private node and feed their own data for testing purposes, there is no need to go for full decentralization yet. Partners are okay with the current state. Main branch is ready to go live in the coming days, audits are almost finished. Thats why pivotal is so silent and thats why collect and aggregate oracle answers task is still not delivered and merged. You will be able to see nodes but you wont be able to stake your testnet LINK on mainnet release. You need to understand that what will be released is a very basic minimum viable product for their partners to start implementing and testing, that wasnt purpose of a ropsten testnet as lot o you expected with >muh, zero activity on ropsten. But its a huge milestone since they can start building brand hypotheses and groundings in strategic intent and market insights, because their partners will finally get their working demo.

Swift GPI Link..... Has to be primary focus, nobody going to convince me Chainlink isn't balls deep in the middle of that project/process.

>> No.12808900

>>12808804
I dont know about Swift but you need to realize that Swift is very trusted among banks, they can use chainlink node as a feed for their GPI LINK but without need of decentralized inputs from ten thousand random nodes. Even Sergey said he dont know whats the real price of decentralization, market demand will figure it out, partners could be okay with their private nodes bringing zero node request volume. There might be a scenario where there are 20k nodes but only $20k daily volume on requests so your node will earn only $30-$40 per month no matter if you stake 10k or 100k LINKs. You dont understand what are fundamentals/possible use cases and a REAL market demand. BUT look at the Ripple, its token is a useless piece of shit and its TOP 3 because its been massively shilled by every media and bank, who knows what can happen with the Chainlink price in the future, even if its mainnet is not requesting node calls worth of millions dollars per day.

we already knwo there is an old version used in production by some companies. but it's old code using pearl I think.

they changed everything, and new version is the decentralized oracle network.

I like your approach but you only put the negative possibilities in perspective. You need to take in other networks that will rely on LINKS network of nodes for random requests and also very specific api data. Polkadot, is just one, look at the law related stuff -and this is just a tiny tip of the apiberg.

Just found some dude has been contributing. He is currently working at www.ampleforth.org.

>Ampleforth is a digital asset protocol for creating fair, independent money. Founded with a mission to address the global economic conflict of interests known as the Triffin Dillemma, the Ampleforth protocol disintermediates central bank inflation by issuing supply directly to its holders using an elastic supply policy. This policy allows its currency (Amples) to avoid the devaluing effects of long-term inflation observed in fiat currencies, while re-engaging the supply mechanism that creates near-term price stability. For more information visit ampleforth.org

You can literally see this on the pivotal under completed epics. It's one of the few tasks Steve hasn't deleted yet.
