Let's talk about STO platforms. What are some good up and coming STO platforms? I'm thinking ETH will be used for STOs. Please don't mention CHX as it's just a useless scam that will go nowhere.

It's CHX. Don't buy it though, I like reading salt threads after a big moon.

Every smart contract platform can be used for STO. ETH XLM EOS Tezos

anyone who thinks tokenizing companies will use anything where they have to interact with crypto currency is a total brainlet. CHX absolutely is the best platform for STOs. CHX is used behind the scenes and it doesn't matter one bit to tokenizing companies what the price of CHX is, they don't even need to know it exists because they pay their service fees in fiat. this is what adoption is going to look like....not private keys...not being subjected to an irrational market that swings wildly at the whim of whales. if any anons are aware of other crypto projects that follow this model, let me know please, cause I'd like to dmor.

Based with trips!

I don't see the need for blockchain IPOs, as thats all STOs are. Why go through all the expense of issuing securities when the token could be released on PoW without the need funding to register!
I personally think that Satoshi knew securities law & put the mining process in addition to the blockchain to circumvent the SEC.
What benefits do you really get with the added up front cost of registering with the SEC? No token that gets released is complete, as the coin gets speculated on, the price rises. No need for these unregistered/registered IPOs, unless your committing a scam.

how familiar are you with the current IPO process? a thriving STO market is not just going to benefit companies where a traditional IPO wouldn't be feasible, it's going to benefit private investors as well by providing greater liquidity for their shares. there absolutely is a market for this sort of thing and I think VC money has a plenty of reason to be excited about it.

Familiar enough to know that your right about the VCs...but also wrong as the VCs can just use series D funding...
How many of the ICO projects would VCs really be interested in? Would making them STOs change that?

>> No.12681933

>>12681879
ICO or IPO? There's no reason for VCs to be interested in ICOs. there's no accountability...it's a scam way of raising money. IPOs? Sure, VCs can use series D funding to help a company who's ready to IPO but doesn't have the capital it needs yet. The thing is though, few companies are going to IPO anymore because of how fucking expensive it is to pull off. there's a lot of risk for anythings that's not already valued in the billions. STOs provide a way to bring small-mid sized companies back to a public market....it's how it's supposed to be.

>> No.12681971

>>12681879
It's not about ICOs doing STOs instead. It's about any small or medium business doing an STO instead of IPO.
