>I'm new to the stock market, what stocks should I buy?
Before you buy anything, make a brokerage account and read investopedia articles and/or the books in the OP list. If you don't have a broker, you can't buy stocks and if you blindly buy things without understanding how the stock market works or doing any research on the individual stocks you're buying, you will lose money and it will be entirely your fault.

Release the Details dammit! I wanna bag Amazon on the mega dip at under 1k. Do it! Do it now! Amazon at under 1k would be so very nice. Plz let the high flying Amazon stock tank hard so I can buy on the mega dip and make greedy profit on the upswing.

Nah. Foveros and chiplets on that active interposer is a step ahead of AMD's Zen 2 solution. They will be either equal or Intel will be ahead of AMD again when Zen 3 comes out. It depends primarily on how far along TSMC's chip stacking and active interposer technology has gotten.

Speaking of dude weed involved speculative stocks with upside left, I have two on close watch. Or, I should say one on watch and one I've already made some profit on. Crop Infractructure Corp, which I have mentioned before. That one pumped 9% today. Not overbought yet, which is now a rare feature in the dude weed stocks. Second is a Canadian coffee shop chain called The Second Cup Ltd. which has had plans ongoing to convert some of its existing coffee shops to weed shops in future. This one is a little dicey and I wouldn't even bother mentioning it if not for the extreme bullishness of weed right now. Market cap: 39m, EPS: 0.13, P/E: 15. only SPY and QQQ are even close to as based, but neither are as based. Literally having 100% of your portfolio until you are 10 years from retirement is the patricians choice.

Hey guys, I just want to recommend VSTM and VLRX. Both are solid biotech companies that are highly undervalued. VSTM makes a cancer treatment drug that has been FDA approved and just went on the market a few months ago. They're focusing on sales and growth in the coming year, look to have a solid plan and have a lot of cash on hand. VLRX is the maker of V-Go, a wearable insulin injection device that allows you to administer your insulin with the press of a button.

GoPro has its own anime in japan, thats why.

The company's flagship camera - witnessed record levels of social engagement at launch and achieved the highest post-launch sell-through of any new camera in the history of the company.

Furthermore, the company announced that its best-selling $399 HERO7 Black has garnered a number of industry awards, highlighting the product's state-of-the-art features. Its present cash cow received innovation awards from CES, CHIP, PCMag and Popular Science, among many others. HERO7 Black also received Editor's Choice Awards from publications around the world including Mashable, Wired, Digital Photo, Kaden Hihyo and Xataka, and Fusion. Such international momentum and overwhelming positive reviews have helped to augment the company's traction in camera market, translating into top-line growth.

GoPro is about to do something historically for the stock. It will have a postive EPS for the first time in 5 years, and it will also post a positive December (a sales session that GoPro has always fumbled on) in its company history.

Stop losses and short term fluctuations are irrelevant. The current legal market for weed is tiny. It will increase over time. This is a guarantee. The growth potential for weed is so insane that it is impossible for it to fail. If you think weed can fail you need to take an economics course. These companies are printing money with a legal customer base of 30 million. What do you think will happen when their legal customer base expands to 500 million? 1 billion? 6 billion? Here, I'll do some math for you.

6 billion / 30 million = 200x market potential just in new legal customers. Now think of additional applications of adding it to drinks, food, etc. It is guaranteed to exceed all other growth sectors in long run. No other sector on earth has the same growth potential. Index funds will never catch up with weed over 30 year period. I already sold half of my index funds and have made a decades worth vanguard gains in a very short time. 8% a year can't compete.

The reality is you will never know in short term what the peaks and dips are. Instead, you will sit on the sideline waiting for a dip that may never come. That would cost you a lot more than the the different between 22 and 13. If you could time the market you would already be rich. You can't, and that's why the only sensible play is to get your money in early and hold. Do not look at the past and think "what if".

roll over money.

I was taught by an old investor to just roll over money. He is filthy rich and he literally doesn't really give a shit about taxes. He wants to roll money over as fast as he can.. I tried to convince him to buy this house to flip with me, he told me no because he doesn't want to sit on his investment longer than 6 months. In 6 months time he can roll his money over 2-3 times and make more money than the one flip.

As you get older you will realize this.. it sure did take me awhile because I had the same mentality when it came to taxes.

Either play the very long gain with LCI or try your hand at something more profitable
LCI will get big again but with no real innovation and a big chip on their shoulder it’s gonna take a bit for investors to see it as a profitable company again

Just wondering, say you got stock in some company that merges with another one. Under the terms you get stock or cash depending on what your preference is.

You only have enough shares to get you a partial share under the terms and ratio used. The agreement states "no partial shares will be given out" so you take cash option.

So now the merger is all set to close. Question; Since cash option was picked, will the company just dump x amount of cash I'm entitled to in my brokerage or will they send me an actual check?
