I would like to start a thread with ONLY technical discussion, which implies less memes, less pasta's, less fud and stuff like that. If you have 0 knowledge about programming, codding etc please, don't waste our time and don't post anything.
So, my big concern about the code development is the aggregation part:

https://github.com/smartcontractkit/chainlink/pull/876 Here you can see a very simple wip about start/create an aggregation request. Almost 1 month and they can't even finish that.

And what about the "collect and aggregate" at pivotal? https://www.pivotaltracker.com/n/projects/2129823/stories/159584617 0/8 task are not even started, and they are there since august.

Another big concern is about the adaptors (the blockchain agnostic capability). They only have 1 adaptor, and it's for ethereum. You can see the adaptors here: https://github.com/smartcontractkit/chainlink/tree/master/adapters

>> No.12622535

Already patented

>> No.12622578

No they have multiple adapters for multiple chains https://github.com/thodges-gh/CL-JSONRPC-EA/blob/master/README.md

>> No.12622630

This isn't technical discussion you fucking retard. You're just posting about pivotal entries. This is progress related only.

No, that's not a full adapter, it's only a partial start adapter and only for a few Json supported platforms, and still is in test mode. That's a first step, really far from the full blockchain agnostic capability. Anyway, this minimal test only works for ethereum, zilliqa, aion and bitcoin. Big players like HyperLedger are still out of the project.

You can loose your node (with all the money/tokens in) if the backfill fails https://github.com/smartcontractkit/chainlink/issues/847 wtf is wrong with this developers? Are they in drugs?

this is why things like linkpool are your safest bet. i'm not even a fan of LP, but if you want to stake let someone else take care of it for you. also the chainlink team will probably have some agreemnt in place with big pool operators anyway to cover any mishaps.

>> No.12623110

>>12622691
That's an external adapter. No one has ever used the term "full adapter", but they have used the term "core adapter" for the adapters built into the node.

You wanna fuck with me? Huh? Who the fuck do you think you're talking to? How about I FUD your overpriced scam back to the stone age. Would you like that you pathetic piece of shit? Let me get out a list of all the companies that Ripple has that have failed, never made it, crashed to zero... it's like 97% of them. Think your scam coin is any different? Do we really need yet another payments clone? No. We don't. They are already far far behind. This ain't fucking stripe lol. Ripple is desperately trying to play catchup. Ripple wishes they were still relevant in our world. But they are a dinosaur in the crypto game. Look at the Brave browser with VC funding... crashing and burning. That's because it's a shitty useless clone, just like Req.Net.

Have fun dropping your bags at half the ICO price. No one wants your stupid scam ICO bullshit anymore. Look at enigma. Wow, band aid solution. Gonna go 10x right? Right? Muh MIT. Muh hedge funds for crypto. That was actually a revolutionary idea... and yet... It's trading on a major exchange at well bellow ICO price. The same is true for your shitty Request.To.Die bags.

So please.

I REQUEST that you fucking go fuck yourself.

LINK is the future motherfucker. Link will be $500 by Q2 of 2019

Cap this.

I'll throw you a bone anon, look at the "version 0.6" story on the pivotal tracker - specifically look for "blockers".
You're welcome.

We can't know for sure but it definitely means that something in this version will allow them to finish aggregation, it might even mean that mainnet is right around the corner...

>> No.12623556

>>12623536
I think this means that until the 0.6 version is live, they can't finish the aggregation tasks. But this doesn't imply they will finish aggregation once 0.6 is live.

>> No.12623613

>>12623556
You are technically right but you failed you to gain trips so i'll take that as sign from kek and just keep hoping that they postpone 0.6 for a few more weeks since i want to buy more and the price is a little to high for me at the moment.

Only once will I post this.
Only once.

Those of you who have been blindly following the chainlink shills are absolute fucking retards. If you had an IQ above 90 and spent 30 minutes researching, you'd actually understand why you are making the best investment of your lives.

The problem with this board is literally most of the Chainlink shills could not explain to you why Chainlink is actually an amazing bet. The few anons that do get it and post legitimately useful information get ignored because most of this board is dense and dumb as fuck and when they can't understand something they act like it wasn't even posted.

Chainlink is next gen. It will make all current holders with 10k+ millionaires. You may have to wait 2-3 years, which most of you will be too dumb to do. You'll see a 5x a year from now and because you've been checking the price every fucking day for over 1500 days you'll think "fuck it, I'm selling, this isn't going anywhere!". When the token actually goes parabolic you'll be holding the keys to your piece of shit Corvette and those of us who weren't total brainlets will be having you park our Bentley's because you work as a fucking valet now.

This is not pasta. Do not repost this. This is simply the truth. Fucking screencap and check back in 2021.
