It really puzzles me too. I can't believe I work with people who have been doing so for decades and think it as normal.

My guess would be they wear off the pain by having friends to meet with in off days or probably indulge in alcohol a bit too much to cope. Absolutely disgusting life.

will answer with some numbers because of those digits. I own a company (that is just me) that subcontracts to a major health insurance company to review claims for anything they use as an excuse to deny claims. They pay me to do it so they can say it was an "independent third party" doing the review. I look through peoples medical records and healthcare encounters, I can realistically audit 120 charts a day (been doing this in some capacity for 6 years so I'm very fast). I make $5 per chart and I work seven days a week with half days on weekends.

I work from home.

>how can I get a scam like this?

Not a single particular one comes to mind to do this, there's a few that kind of overlap, or are offered by competing professional associations. I have a super rare one so I won't say sorry.

My core functions are applying utilization review and analyzing applied medical records codes. You need a decent knowledge of pathophysiology, pharmacology, and anatomy and physiology too so you can interpret what the fuck is going on.

Oh and legal shit like what is mandated in what context in what state by the insurance regulatory board. I only review for a three state area so thats relatively easy.

>That sounds like sad work. But somebody's gotta do it.

It's just work. I don't even look at these peoples names, they're just account numbers to me. I did get my cousin once though kek, I overrode all the edits since we don't have the same last name no one would notice.

Is it "necessary"? I guess so. Medicare and medicaid use people like me too so even if the US gets single payer (which I actually support), it's not going anywhere.

>Any plans to do something different?

Honestly I think I will be automated out of existence sooner than later. Right now the algos that I work with make my job easier....but it's not too far that they can fully take over (natural language processing just isn't there yet).

I try to save+invest as much $ as possible while I'm making good money. Sitting at a desk all day for these years is killing me so when I am dumped I will view it as an opportunity.

Ideally I would work outside. A gubbermint job would be ideal so I can kind of just take it easy.

People hate having jobs because our society is unethical Jewish oligarchy in which there is no spiritual connection amongst us and zero aspiration towards greater ideals.

You take Hitlers Germany for example and you can very clearly see what humanity is capable of when we form a spiritual bond with our people and have high aspirations. 0% unemployment rate and everybody worked as were happy to contribute because it was an ethical society.

because there's better things to do with your time than making someone else rich while you earn just enough to pay your rent and keep the lights on

if you feel fulfilled working menial jobs then it's because you don't have enough imagination or ambition to keep yourself occupied with personal hobbies, in which case have at it i guess.

i'll never work for anybody else ever again, been living off investments and self-employment for the last 5 years and never been happier, sure sometimes i end up "working" more hours in a week than i would at a menial job, but at least i'm in control, i'm making the decisions, and the rewards are mine alone (both financially and psychologically) which makes it all worthwhile.

no one should ever be content as a wagecuck, there's always a "better way" to live than that, it's a damn shame the public school system has conditioned so many minds to believe wagecucking is the only way to make a living
