ETH was like first car, this case first smart contract platform, it was good some time

but evolution makes better cars, early 1900 cars, or aeroplanes etc, they are not as good like current cars and aeroplanes

cryptospace is very young, ETH isnt some sacred cow, if there is better coin/platform like EOS, its capitalism and common sense that companyes, and people use this better platform rather than older, more costly, and slow ETH platform

The ETH dev team can take improvements from other platforms as constructive criticism.
Their team is sizable enough to respond rapidly enough to move first even if the improvements werent their idea in the first place.

An example: sure people still use Snapchat, but Instagram stories are now the ubiquitous example, despite not being first on the scene.
Facebook/Insta have the backing to achieve this effect.
I believe ETH is in the same position.
