Yeah. It is a five year old PoW coin that has been worked on since then. It never really had a social media presence but OIP/Alexandria was developed on it and has finally reached the point of viability.

It has a "team" but it is only as much as team as Bitcoin's is. They don't really control anything they just happen to be the longest developers. Any work done is purely volunteer. But apparently TZero decided it was the platform they wanted to use for DLRs and make it the backbone of a lot of their endeavors including the whole land registry thing in Wyoming.

It is relatively under the radar and has very little volume. With OIP it might become the basis for the decentralized internet especially if the rumors turn out to be true.
