Financial bubbles are created from money being pulled out of thin air. You can thank the Federal Reserve for depreciating the dollar of 98% of it's purchasing power since they took control. Banks legally loan out mountains of currency that they do not have.

Human population growth certainly is a contributing factor but it's being exponentially compounded by inflation.

You can observe this phenomenon by looking into why the Venezuelan stock market is booming while the citizens are out in the streets picking food out of the dumpster because you have to carry a backpack full of cash to buy a loaf of bread. The US is just experiencing it on a much slower rate because of world reserve currency status and a much larger GDP.

the problem with Venezuela is that it is overpopulated and not agricultural. Venezuela's agriculture has a always been a joke in Latin America and they have relied on oil exports. There is no analogy between the U.S and Venezuela. In the U.S you have tons of Chinese coming in and buying houses and of immigrants coming in. Venezuela you have people abandoning their homes and emigrating. Venezuela also has low oil prices and financial sanctions to deal with. The U.S on the other hand has a diverse economy and is the creator of financial sanctions.

inflation does not create bubbles, no one right now would say the venezuelan housing market is booming. For things to boom they have to outpace inflation, you don't see investors rushing to the venezuelan stock market. Without demand there is no boom.
