Unless you already have some good connections/contacts, you will always be a 60 hours a week wage cuck.

Its like that for many careers and jobs. Every single job ive had was through networking. I'm not going to let something like that deter me.

High level supply chain is 1000% worse. Literally every comfy job is a relative/family friend. Good luck anon.

Supply chain planning (forecasting and optimization project management)

I like it because its competency based and soft skills are not as impprtant as in sales for example.

So does that include data analysis? What type of systems do you use?
What should I be focusing on for entry level stuff?

>> No.12457115

>>12456998
Yep, there is some data analysis involved but i thought it would be far more sophisticated than just averages/basic calculus. Most of the time I just make sure other people do their jobs on time and complain to their/mine boss if they dont.
We mainly use SAP and Excel based tools.

For entry level we take people without any experienxe and with just ba degree, its more about the enthusiasm/leadership experience (ex. Earned in a football team). Keep in mind polish economy is booming and theres a deficit of highly skilled workers.

Hey man, I'm a SAP Abap developer myself. Mostly in MM, ERP, some SCM development as well. Do you think it's a good idea to go to the business side. It seems quite interesting to me, especially since I know the in and outs of SAP

It's easy and you can make a decent wage. If you want to be top brass you need an MBA and know how to speak the broader lingo. Also ethics and sustainability are the fun and future. I just finished a project employing 150 marginalised people locally and affordably.

I know a person who got a degree in finance and now works as a VP at Bank of America. They literally do nothing most days. Most of the work involved is fitting in with that social crowd which is a bunch of boat shoes wearing vest owning new money from Heroin Town, Ohio who now thinks they've fucking made it. They are unbearable.
