Europe is dead and gone, it's a globalist super state now run by uneletced elitist bureaucrats edition

>I'm new to the stock market, what stocks should I buy?
Before you buy anything, stop making the general with trips, make a brokerage account and read investopedia articles and/or the books in the OP list. If you don't have a broker, you can't buy stocks and if you blindly buy things without understanding how the stock market works or doing any research on the individual stocks you're buying, you will lose money and it will be entirely your fault.

I'm a retard who uses twitch emotes outside of twitch.

LUL is an emote to signify laughter, like 'lol'.

In this case I was laughing at myself for buying an option that at the time was inflated by volatility. Didn't look at the trend and bought virtually the top of the day.

For me, it's the McChicken. The best fast food sandwich. I even ask for extra McChicken sauce packets and the staff is so friendly and more than willing to oblige.

One time I asked for McChicken sauce packets and they gave me three. I said, "Wow, three for free!" and the nice friendly McDonald's worker laughed and said, "I'm going to call you 3-for-free!".

Now the staff greets me with "hey it's 3-for-free!" and ALWAYS give me three packets. It's such a fun and cool atmosphere at my local McDonald's restaurant, I go there at least 3 times a week for lunch and a large iced coffee with milk instead of cream, 1-2 times for breakfast on the weekend, and maybe once for dinner when I'm in a rush but want a great meal that is affordable, fast, and can match my daily nutritional needs.

I even dip my fries in McChicken sauce, it's delicious! What a great restaurant.

Good move. Canopy is a solid swing trade stock, in my opinion. Sort of same deal as the rest of the dude weed. Most interesting to me is it has a tendency to conform to relatively consistent pump and dump periods. 3-4 week pump off tightened price range, 3-4 week dump, consolidate for a while, 3-4 week pump, repeat. This most recent one was enlightening to me as I was not sure Canadian dude weed would remain in the same general pattern as it had prior to Canada officially going legal in October. For now, it seems the hype is still there and the big moves are going to continue.

Right now I want to see what happens at the ~$46.60(US) / $60(CAN) resistance.

But people did want to unite into a united german state back then. That was the whole point of the 1848 German Revolution plus they fought a couple of wars just to unite the german states. But they did have something to unite over: a common languange, a common people and a common history. Europe itself is too fragmented and trying to united it into one single state will end in disaster. It will turn into the most unefficient undemocratic state ever

Back in high school i choose sciences instead of economics (Here in PT we have to choose sort of the field we want to study in in HS) because i'm also quite good at chemistry and physics and i wanted to go towards mechanical engineering in college but i always add a knack for macroeconomics and statistics. I only got into finance in the 2nd wave of college applications because i couldn't get into my main choice which was economics but thank god i didn't get because now that i've got into finance i truly love it

I'd say finance would be more related to investment. I think in economics you talk more about micro and macro economics and basically the theories and think behind the economy while in finance we talk about investing, bonds, funds, equities, swaps and a lot of excel. But i think you could get into an investment job with either of them

Business/finance is semi-useful and (largely arbitrarily) valued in finance/investment jobs. Economics is more akin to being indoctrinated into a religion you didn't know existed--useless in almost every conceivable way valued less than business/finance in industry. Economics is more appropriate if you want to become a professor and teach economics.

So if it don't get bought, I can always sell it on a high note and enjoy the fat 0.64 div in the meantime. LGF is in a good spot for takeover with the media mergers being all the rage now. They got a shit pot full of content plus own starz channel. The stock is cheap atm at under $20 per so some company can swoop in and buy it without to much trouble.

Those few who remember what it was like before the hegemony often have truly valuable insights, same as though who specialize in China and the post-soviet countries, they can see the limits of liberalism and neoclassical theory.

It's only a two year trend. I don't normally use log for that kind of time frame. However, in Amazon's case the same low points do fit on the longer term trend line going back to '08 crash with only minor divergence below in 2015. This makes no difference to my original normal scale chart from 2016 to present.

that's a retarded idea, and I definitely won't do that
the series b converted shares being converted is a bullish indicator, it happened on January 11th, the last day of the JP Morgan healthcare conference
all appearances suggest that they converted their shares to common stock so that they could profit from an imminent rise in share price
GALT doesn't need to dilute to raise money, and they've been looking for a partnership/bo for a long time (they've had a strategic advising company on their payroll for more than 6 months now)

finance is more investment related. econ will deal with elasticity and monetary policy and mechanics of credit, etc. finance will deal with cost management, cash flow forecasts, leverage, corporate governance, benchmarking portfolios, etc. finance is real world corporate economics. unless you want to go work for the Fed or Finra or just do research, econ isn't as applicable as finance in the workplace, especially the investment space

US SUGAR #11 PUMPING

I think I might get more in to trading commodities. Originally I was just watching them because I thought some of the names for things are funny. Then I started paying attention to the price movements. There's a lot of volatility with these commodities that I think I can trade pretty well. Will look in to it in future. I'm not sure what they best way to trade some of these commodities is. I mean I don't actually want to buy bags of sugar and, ya know, cattle, on account of my neighbours probably wouldn't be too cool with a hundred cows in my backyard and all. There are probably ETFs for a lot of it, same as oil/gas.

Long big sugar. BIG SUGE.
