BTC is not private or fungible.

What use does a large corporate entity or institution have with a coin that can be analysed through chain analysis so that their competitors, foreign governments, or other bad actors can analyse all of their transactions data?

Information leaked includes relationships, supply chains, profit and loss information, accumulated wealth, and more.

For people serious about Business Monero is the answer. Data mining will be a serious issue for commercial deployments.

I'm 50 years old and I've been rich and poor.
I was born and raised in a housing project (I'm white). Joined the Navy out of high school and saw the world as a poor dude.
In the late 90's I worked with a man who showed me how to trade online ...I was always interested in money and investing so I really took to it. By 2000 I had 2 million in all my accounts combined. Now that may not be your definition of rich, but considering my dad never made over 20k per year even though he was a hard worker and up til then I never made 25k per year.
I sold at the high of the market and lived rather well. No Lambo, just a BMW. Over time I blew thru the money and the market was going down. Did LOTS of drugs and basically became amoral and a sloth. If I had to say anything bad, that was it. Money makes you bored and lazy and prone to stupid decisions anybody else would say wtf?
I ended up in prison and broke, drug distribution.
Got out ten years ago and been trading since then. Got about half a million in the bank and all my fines paid off. Much better and humble disposition now.

Bottom line...its better to be rich but understand the value of money.

>> No.12371300

as someone who mostly made it from being homeless, the biggest difference is the complete lack of anxiety about the future in terms of food / housing.

it's knowing you'll never have to wage cuck, knowing you don't have to put up with bullshit.

buying nice things is nice, but being able to tell everyone to fuck off and never having to depend on anyone is nicer.

>> No.12371356

Money unironically doesn't buy happiness. Try to get a good career making a good living doing something you don't hate. If you are relatively happy at your job and make something close to 100k that is pretty much the ideal. Being a business owner trying to make millions comes with so much extra stress and risk, it's really not worth it, trust me.

Go the gym, do things that interest you, find a woman that loves you and would still be buy your side if you lost every penny tomorrow. Start a family. Get a dog. Enjoy the little things in life. Stupid shit like watching a movie with your girlfriend on the couch and decorating your house together will bring you more happiness than extra zeros in your bank account.

But I had to learn these things to hard way so you probably won't listen to me because I didn't listen to this kind of shit when I was younger either.

also we have to work all year, and its tough to take holidays because not enough money...so we spend all our lives wageslaving.

when we get kids, its even tougher to pay for their stuff, give them gifts and actually spendibng time with them, except for weekends (if the boss doesnt call me for work).

Then when you look up from what you're doing and think "fuck, where did my life go", you realize that you have to do ANOTHER big personality change to get into "life is good and imma take it easy" mode. But by then you're older and it gets harder because a) your neuroplasticity is lower and b) you now have something to lose and are more afraid to just let loose a bit.

I’m currently looking for investors for a project I’m finishing up.

We are seeking $18,000 with a minimum of $4,000 per investment.

$4,000 garners you 2.5%. If you invest the full amount asked for you will receive an additional 4%.

We are in a rapidly growing niche industry estimated at $100 million a year.

The new and established companies are consistently within the top 1,000 or even 100 fasting growing companies in the United States every year.

We have not one but two products set to revolutionize this industry. The current competitors products are very basic. We have working prototypes for both.

Why we are better will be explained in depth in my pitch.

I have $10,000 of my own money in this project and another $35,000 from investors .

Wisest words. I know this from girls ive dated, friends parents, and my own family. Im talking about 5m equity in dads name, to lifelong best mates with parents worth about 20m( 2 besties), and an ex whose parentd would be worth 50, 75m maybe. I know I'll be rich- I'm 19, net worth ~50k yet if I don't have cash in my spending account, I'll gladly not eat. It is a parasitic, all consumung desire for more money which makes you feel comfortable once you earn it. It's usually the people with family issues who have a bad attachment mechanism who end up rich from managing money- Or slightly autistic and have to learn to socialise and end up better at it than the normal population, or the people like me who are so unstimulated by normal life that they seek danger through excessive consumption, dangerous shit, thrills, and gambling in markets with leverage.

My family (dad's dozen cousins) are worth atleast 2-3m each on average- top tier of society by job and money at their age, money never leaves the family, ever. Trusts from grandparents goes to grandkids for their kids and money isn't truly able to be spent but just grows over time- much like a kibbutz. All my relatives have houses worth atleast 3m, have been debt free since they were 30, and spend less than a normal person by many times.

The parasitic, all-consuming state of stress and worry of everything- The psychosis, delusions, mood swings, compulsions- 75% have it in my family atleast and suffer as a result. But the accumulation mindset that paraistically grips is the cause for wealth.

You are most likely just an introvert; however, schizoid personality disorder is not all or nothing, it exists on a spectrum, much like introversion. I am most likely on the extreme end of the schizoid spectrum since I can count how I felt lonely on one hand throughout my entire life...I am 31 years old btw.

Mostly what others have said. Leeches. You either dont showcase your wealth or you have to be an asshole and tell people to fuck off. Anyone you help will just keep coming back for more if you give in. Basically you will end up being hated by everyone you know. Ive seen it happen. Not to me but to a close friend.

Why not just go live in the woods if what you're saying is true? All you really need are food water and a toothbrush, you'll be fine. You can simply build a shack and live out inna brush, nobody will bother you.

Lack of modern plumbing and electricity. Also I don't have the survival skills to fend for myself in the woods. Furthermore, since I don't associate with anyone, nobody bothers me anyways...it helps to be mute like I am, people naturally gravitate away from me once they find out I'm not the talkative type. If I do make it with crypto however, I would love to build myself a cabin in the swiss alps or somewhere similar...basically a place with low population density.

My family makes a million a year in dividends from our family business. Net worth over 60 million.

The best thing is that you simply don't need to worry about money. No debts or financial issues at all. Decide you want to go on a 2 month holiday to some of the nicest hotels in Europe? Just go. That being said you don't get rich by wasting money. My family are frugal and we barely spent our wealth. We might spend 10-15% of it in a year. People treat you poorly if they know you're rich. Either they think less of you because you 'have it all' or they like you for it, which is actually bad because it means they like your money not you, they will also treat you like shit behind your back.

If you do make it to being rich, never tell anyone, except your spouse. The best way to spend money is on non-material advantages and experiences. Don't even tell your kids, raise them modestly, live modestly, but do pay for a good education and good experiences like nice holidays to interesting places.

Against all of /biz/s shitposting, getting rich quick is simply not going to happen. There is nothing wrong with having financial planning for the long term, so that you're rich by the time you're 50. Trust me, if you have a few million by the time you're 50 you still have the same mind you had when you were 30, and more than enough time to live and do everything you wanted. The only things you can do when you're young you cant do when your old is fuck around and sports. Everything else can be done with enough cash.

With crypto this is a possibility, look at 2017. Even if I don't end up with 60 million net worth, my investments in crypto will most definitely out perform index funds and set me up with a nice chunk of capital to get me started.

People said the same things about tulips anon. I dont deny there is a chance you will win at crypto and get lucky, but it isn't an investment, its speculation, and it is extremely high risk.

The assumption that you will do well though is based on your hope, not on reality, I wish you all the best but statistically you're likely going to lose it all.

The concept of a product being too good to be true has existed all through human history. But the distinction between an investment and speculation has also always existed. Something as risky as crypto is not an investment, its pure speculation whether one will go up or down.

Im not saying there is anything wrong with that at all, I am probably going to have a bit of fun doing it as well because its entertaining. But 99% of my wealth is staying in investments which historically have weathered a lot of storms like stocks, bonds, gold and property. Even just picking one of these is better than gambling on cyptos.

nobility in poverty is a meme. financial security is always going to secure your lineage a better existence no matter what. Redpill your children and strangers children in accumulation of wealth and how to go into debt which will create profit instead of investing in things which lose worth immediately after purchase.

You know when you're waiting at a bus stop and some guy revs past you in a Lambo, you want to hurt that guy? If you're the rich guy, thats everyone that finds out you're rich.

Also, you also know that quiet kid in your class in high school that never socialized and you felt sorry for but couldn't bother talking to because you already got your own circle of friends? Yeah hes rich as fuck now and you and your little friends are all wagecucks. Doesn't that make you feel like you haven't achieved enough in life and want to know his 'secrets'.

Yeah.
