How much revenue does 4chan/channel generate? What would you guess the current valuation of this website is? If you were Gookmoot and you wanted to monetize 4chan, how would you go about doing so?

he's already got passes, more advertising after the split, and even adverts right in the middle of threads now. the only other thing i can think of is getting anons to mine crypto while they're on the site.

it's worthless. it costs more money to operate than it can make with ads. so the only way to make it profitable is to rape the userbase with shit like passes or CPU miners (which Hiro did briefly during the bullrun). all chans and forums end up asking for donations or are run at a loss for charity.

Yeah anybody who's spent more than 5 minutes on 4chan knows that's not going to work. What will happen is that some fringe group (alt right, ANTIFA, incels, discord trannies, pedos, maybe even bronies etc) will take over and abuse the system to create an echo chamber. You'll just end up with tyranny by majority where anything that goes against the prevailing opinion gets reported to oblivion, which you can already get on any subreddit.
