there is no such thing as "oracle problem" in programming or networks, thats just a philosophical thing. Don't you think there would be more teams working on this if it was an actual issue? Wouldn't expect more from a philosophy major though

your pajeet painting doesn't answer my question. The source of the data in the real world will come from a centralized trusted provider. Just because the data go through chainlink doesn't make it any less centralized

you are a nigger, or a pajeet sir.
chainlink nodes will use multiple sources of data. and each node will use different adapters. it's up to the node operator to choose which sources to use.

if he choses a data provider that lies or is hacked then he will just lose his linkies.

also you are mistaken into thinking that nodes only provide external data.

nodes can store data in an internal database and data can be pushed in that DB.
also nodes can provide any kind of computation.

so it's not ONLY about data providing.

you still haven't answered my question.. how is this "decentralized" if the data sources are not? chainlink is just another middleman that the contract will have to trust, just another centralized layer between a centralized source.

Unless they are creating a super intelligent AI they haven't solved any oracle problem or anything close to it

This is literally like buying Ethereum in 2016

"Chainlink can still be very effective in single source data. No one can solve the single source by verifying the data is 100% correct, but they can make sure the feed wasn’t tampered with and have the data source provider sign their data so as to verify it on their end. Chainlink also provides confidentiality in the whole process"
