What a problem with work? You go out, meet people, socialize, have some lunch, do somethng for your boss and then you get to go home with a paycheck and can do whatever you want rest of the day.

I "meet" the same handful of people every day
I don't socialize because its a waste of time and work needs to get done
I eat lunch at my desk because work needs to get done
I work for my boss and that's all I'm going to do for him
I get my paycheck every two weeks
I have to sit in traffic for 3 hours and I only have a few hours left in the night before I start the wagecuck daily cycle over again
Yes, I work. Do you work? I'm finding it less believable everyday that the majority of workers have this idyllic lifestyle you describe, but that could be explained partly because the overall working conditions in this god forsaken country are getting worse and worse every day and the amount of places where you can just "lel just find another job" and retreat to are diminishing overall in absolute quantity.

No, you dont socialize because your parents never thought you the importance of socializing. Socializing is single most important ability to know in business.

Your boss is a person that can help you in times of need. Also can promote you and write great recomendations if you ever wanna leave the place. Your boss is single most important person there you should be sosializing with and makeing a friend. Also do more then expected to show your work ethics.

This is why its really really important to socialize, befriend your boss and do the best job you can possible do. Even if its just driving a damn forklift. Work ethics and discipline will either make your boss pay you more if you decide to leave or will give you an amazing recommendation when you find work closer to your home.

Nobody is saying working conditions r idyllic. Most of the time they are crap. But we have to know what we want and do the best out of it. You wanna stay in that shit job, 3 hours away from where you live for the rest of your?
