Dont you brainlets understand that smartcontracts.com as a company might be succesful, but the chances of token holders benefiting from that success is still uncertain. Sergey can alter the economics of your LINKs any time he wants, with no adverse consequences. Case in point, JNT, ZRX. The moment LINK begin to be a drag on their business model due to regulations or incompatibility, Sergey will dump yo asses so fast you couldn't even type "$1000 eoy"

shoot I sure hope not mister. I feel like that would fuck up the whole point of having a decentralize oracle network. I mean, part of the whole thing is giving node operators the incentive to report API data accurately, without that the whole thing falls part and centralization makes more sense. But then again, this is crypto, and anything could happen, but in LINK's case, I think incentivizing decentraliztion makes the most sense.

If Sergey does solve the oracle problem, he'll be the richest man on earth 100x over, so I don't think greed even plays into it.
