imagine what it was like. everyone laughing at you. calling you a nerd. no one even giving a shit.

having to jump through 1000 hoops to buy. going through the process of learning about bitcoin and then taking a deeper plunge into how it all works.

finding bitcoin.org and then bitcointalk.org. creating a thread only to have to wait 2-3 days to get a single reply. to be able to ask satoshi any question. to KNOW how huge it was going to be yet have some doubts at the same time.

discussing with other bitcoin fanatics how large you all think its going to be. OgNasty thinks the main use case is gaming. BitcoinFX thinks the main use case is anonymous currency... then to have the fudders tell you every day how bitcoin is "worthless" and will never take off. for sentiment to be 90% negative and 10% positive.
