I was thinking about this a while ago, all the other platforms have a first mover advantage with regards to DApp development and a lot of them have rolled out gambling applications that quite a few people use. However all of these platforms charge for every transaction and for every smart contract, while SKY is completely feeless because of its own internal economy with generated CoinHours. Even though $0.01 is nothing for a person who places bets on dice, it starts to add up for DApps that require millions of microtransactions. Something like automated trading on a DEX will be inefficient if there are fees for every microtransaction. I picked up a bag of SKY at $0.85 because at this point, it has become practical to actually use the network for its VPN.
