Is this card worth it?

I just pulled the offer page for 50,000 points with $1k spend requirement. the AF is waived the first year, but afterwards, its $195. Should I go for it? Is it safe to apply for a CC through tor browser?

Are you retarded?

That card isn't even good if you're rich. There are far better cards if you're going to pay an annual fee.

It's a card designed to take advantage of poorfags that want to impress other poorfags by pretending their not poorfags.

Get yourself a BoA or Chase cash back card

There's literally no downside into using it to get the bonus points, then canceling it.

Other than having to spend 1k within 3 months.

If you were gonna spend that anyway, then go for it.

Check and make sure they don't have some kind of rule against that though

Lol as if a single pull would ruin your credit score.

OP, open the card, get the min spend, use the points then cancel the card. It's free money if you pay off your bills in full at the end of each statement

Not the pull, the cancelling

There really aren't, unless you include "rewards miles" as an acceptable cash back option. At that point, the tiny extra % you get back is frivolous anyway because you have/are spending enough money to cover travel easily anyway.

Done.

There's a slight credit hit; you'll have one new account and one credit pull. If you don't have a moderate history, that might sink your credit for a while. That's why you build credit, so you can do stuff like this with no repercussions.

And to the idiots who think "there's no way credit companies would just hand out money like this, they'd never make a profit!" justifies their stupid opinions: for every guy like OP who cashes in a couple hundred bucks in cash back there are a thousand who carry a balance every month or forget about the card altogether and just keep paying the annual fee until they die.

This stuff is really not complicated.

Would it be a better idea for me to just get an Amex Everyday card and look for special offers with 25k points?
