Hi all,

I'm looking to completely stop trying to trade cryptos and move funds into a more long-term profile. In the 2016-17 run platform tokens all performed well but I can't see all of them succeeding in real world adoption, and the valuations were clearly over blown. I'm looking to invest in some more established projects with some unique selling point and longevity.

Excluding BTC, what would you guys consider good tokens to invest and look away from?

Ignoring the FUD, LINK seems sensible in as far as it seems to be the only project with aims to properly solve the oracle problem, small dedicated dev team with regular GitHub commits and steady advancement.

GRAFT seems to be making some headway in the payments market

Beyond these two, are there any long-term tokens I strongly need to look into?

Why HOT? It's got a meme following, but what would stop another team doing what they're aiming, but better? In terms of development, they've not got a huge headstart as far as I can see?

Basically this. BTC and ETH are must haves, XMR is the best privacy coin still (though it could be replaced or end up not being worth much). LINK might just be a meme, but you want a suicide stack just in case the memes are real.

Listen, anon. Most of the board on /biz/ is fucking retarded. I'm talking about Linkers, HOTters, etc. Stick to the basics:

XMR (Including the Masari fork), BTC (no forks included), and maybe some ETH. Do NOT buy Link, LTC, or XRP. All have very weak fundamentals and small room for growth. Thank me in 4 years. If anyone calls this out as FUD they're retarded.

Okay then elaborate how do the coins you mentioned have "weak" fundamentals?

gaylink, bitcoin testnet (LTC) and cripple are all shit.

LTC - Offers no advantages over BTC. If tx speed is an issue, Nano or a similar coin will be adopted. Can't scale. Will die out.

LINK - A decent hold, but overambitious community and team. Low growth potential due to supply.

XRP - Literal meme with no use case.
