From my perspective, what I dont understand is why there are so many losers on a business discussion board who dont want good advice. I try and participate in real estate and entrepreneur threads when they pop up, because that is where I've made large amounts of money. But go look at the /biz/ catalog, nothing but crypto and shit posts for the most part. There is still some funny content here, so I keep coming back. Also, it's good to expose yourself to the people who are retarded financially, knowing what not to do is just as useful as following a well know path to financial freedom

Any advice to an anon wanting to buy rental properties? I have about 25k in fiat right now and I’m torn between dumping all of my paychecks into boomer stocks or saving up for a 4 unit rental. I hate the idea of debt but I’m thinking maybe take out a loan for a building and then rent it out? I wave slave 40 hours a week so if owning rental properties is another 15-20 hours of work a week I’m probably gonna say fuck it.

I think most larpers project their personal aspirations, they want to be rich and they know what they want to do with the money when they become rich. So they role play it..

To be honest, most people on /biz/ that are poor in a relative sense, have an exact plan on what they should invest in e.g. what stocks they want to own, how many percentage of their networth they want to keep in crypto, what type of house they want - once they make it.
I think even a good chunk of /biz/ posters even have plans on tax-evasion strategies or plan on moving to another country with lower capital gains taxes.. although it will most likely never come into fruition, it's just a fantasy which sometimes spill over into role-play.
