I DONT WANT TO WORK the entire system of 9 to 5 is fucked up, and that’s a good scenario because big 4 or mbb or banking OFFER AT LEAST 10 HOURS A DAY are you kidding me, crypto better works

Level 1.5 NEET here (1.5 years).

Fuck working. I won't spend my fleeting time here on Earth slaving for someone else.

Other people want to work and will put in more effort than you do at life. This is why you won't succeed. You only have yourself to blame.

>> No.12095342

why anyone does 9-5 is beyond me, I work 2 days a week and make enough to live a decent life (920 aud a week)just have to work 1 weekend day and put up with working in a hot ass factory in summer that is also freezing in winter. No aspirational career types working here so everything is chill with no work related drama or people trying to fuck others over to get ahead

>succeed
Please define. Because 9-5 lifers are not succeeding.

What do you do? I am also aus and have been looking for something that is only 2-3 days a week? Every fucking job I get or look into they either want me full time (but with a casual contract) or they wont let me do less than 20 hours a week so it's either 4 days or 3 days but one is an extra long shift.

I just want to work 2 days and have a 5 day weekend.

Pick pack In a warehouse for a major supermarket. Not a job that people think highly of but I don’t give a fuck

You can actually be more productive being a NEET neckbeard living in a basement than even a white collar wageslave IF you find the right online niche.

You make 920 after taxes?

>> No.12095434

Fuck that is actually what I've been applying for lately. How do you get $920 a week on only 2 days of work though. What is the hourly rate?

What state are you in? I'm NSW. How did you get it, just apply for Woolworhts/Coles/Aldi pick packer jobs? Might jump on seek right now to apply if you tell me what to search for specifically. So many fucking warehouse jobs on there.

Yeah after tax but I work 13 hours on a Saturday 9 on a weekday so not short hours

NSW unfortunately it is really hard to get permanent jobs in the industry anymore. Most new starters are agency casuals for 5 years + before being any chance at full time being casual gives you far less flexibility and higher expectations are placed on you. Hourly rate only 32.5 but Saturday penalty rates overtime (all but gauranteed) and bonus make it decent pay

honestly estimate what your average wage could be, minus taxes, multiple it by the years till retirement. Realise that amount is all the money you will ever be paid
even if the dollar didn't loose value over time
even if there were no more housing crashes
even if you were given that amount today in full today, how optimistic would your financial outlook be
then think of the reality
that wage will require 5/7ths of your life's time
you will most likely need debt for a car, education, home
you may have a wife you cannot support
you may have children who you can give nothing but debt
if you define purchasing power by cpi your wage needs to increase by 3% per year to break even, if you define purchasing power by gold your wage needs to increase 10% a year to break even
we are in the world jackson warned about in pic related. People talk about endless work or voluntarily taking up suffering as what gives life meaning, where is the line between prostitution and profession. There's nothing moral about undertaking fruitless work, it's madness.
