The fantasy that Bitcoin will rally to new highs as it has done many times following prior crashes, will not only keep HODLers from selling, but sucker them into adding to their positions, enabling the guys who got in early to keep ringing the cash register all the way down.

Whoever wanted to sell while the price was high already sold. There's no need for someone to wait until the price is lower to sell. That would be like burning money.

Obviously this isn’t true since there’s still huge selling pressure. The people who didn’t sell before didn’t because the price wasn’t as close to their capitulation point as it is now. You clearly have no idea how markets work.
