Why do normies and redditors believe in crypto currency as the next moon in bull?

Smart contracts are obviously going to be the money makers but they are all bagholding and accumulating shit like Nano and Litecoins or other currency coins. They believe adoption is about currency coins. Holy fucking retards.
Even normies holding ADA are hyped over currency related protocols and use and not smart contract.

Literally buying this ahit because it was hyped and pumped once therefore it must again.
Go look at normie sites they all care about currency and nothing else.
Banks and institutions are archaic and wont care. No need to use that shit. Smart contracts which can easily integrat into archaic systems are the winners

because while important the actual situations when you need the complete trustlessness that smart contracts on a censorship resistant distributed ledger are much much more limited than /biz/ likes to think. reddit sees this and realizes the actual opportunity to make money off of this is much smaller than riding the next hype bubble for digital cash 2.0 gold rush.
