Last year it seemed like every day there was a new article about a company looking into using blockchain or supporting cryptocurrencies. Now it seems like the whole world has forgotten about them and the only people left are bagholders who have to face new levels of misery each day.

I ask, after all that, how the fuck did it gain so much hype last year without at least one substantial use case coming out? How was it that so many people took out loans to buy something that they have no understanding of, and instead of trying to understand it, they just forget about it when it goes bad? If 2017 couldn't have any lasting positive effects on crypto, what possibly could now?

Is it all just one greed filled meme?

Remember that brief time when you could spend Bitcoin on Steam?
Then they pulled it because of fees, and the amount of asspain involved in getting it to work.
