Please help /biz/. Need someone farmiliar with background checks.

I got an offer for my dream job and waiting for the BG to come back. Literally the ONLY mark on my record is a PETTY misdemeanor (not considered a crime in my state, only a citation). But it was for getting caught with weed paraphernalia. I have never been arrested, never mugshotted/fingerprinted. It is in my state the same level as a traffic ticket, but I’m hyperventilating at the thought of them rescinding the offer over this, which happened OVER 7 YEARS AGO.

any words of encouragement? I can’t sleep...just the fact that my BG might might come back with a ding for “possession of drug paraphernalia”, makes it sound worse than it is. again, NOT A CRIME just a citation but idk what to think.

I was checked in voluntarily and it was in another state, if you got 5150'd then that might be another thing altogether. And not sure about arrested, I've never been arrested driving without a license plate is just a fix it ticket
