You are all retarded brainlets. Yes, chainlink won't require tokens for private blockchains and projects running on private blockchains. The problem is that private blockchains are completely fucking useless. They are nothing but a mySQL database. If a blockchain doesn't have the decentralization, privacy and security from hundreds of thousands of indepent nodes securing the network, it's not a blockchain, it's just a private database.

Companies WILL eventually realize this, because right now they're only using "muh blackchains" as a buzzword to hype investors. Eventually everything will run on public blockchains. Eventually - as long as ethereum (or some other chain) can solve the scaleability and cost of operation problem, which WILL also be solved. That's not mentioning the hundreds and hundreds of projects that will be using chainlink inside of the cryptocurrency community. Sure, chainlink probably won't moon massively now, there's honestly no reason for it with mainnet not even being out, but next bull market the massive potential, influx of normies, new waves of ICOs and projects announcing they will be using chainlink alongside the huge, private companies (who will eventually one by one switch to public chains) will make ChainLink moon with green dildos bigger than anyone has ever seen.

Nothing changes about today's announcement. SWIFT was never confirmed, and we also knew they likely won't use the actual chainlink network, and the other noname projects that announced they will be using chainlink we didn't even know about a week ago. If you sell now, you are basically selling the absolute bottom.

SWIFT will use the public network when TEEs are ready because it will allow all these projects to do SWIFT payments without giving up their API info. They are not going to prevent others from using their network since it benefits all the banks using it.
