So I know it's 2 years old, but what does /biz/ think of Ron Paul's warnings about the looming currency crisis?

If Ron Paul said it then its true and gonna happen. He has never been wrong in the past....just early.

he's absolutely right but its hard to time these things. So, stop wasting time and take action. Don't be one of those losers that looks back and scratches his head for not taking action sooner. BE THE CHANGE OP

I like dr. paul...even donated to his campaign back in 2008 when I was a broke ass college student.

However, the interest rates are creeping toward 5% 2-years later. There's a lot of truth to what he's saying, but I doubt there will ever be a total financial break down due to a money crises.

You're talking about a country with a $13trillion GDP. The economy will get bad, because that's the nature of boom & bust cycles, but I doubt there will be a total breakdown like he's describing.

it kind of seems like hes reading off a teleprompter but this all sounds like stuff he wrote himself. Everybody sees what hes talking about coming really soon, I hope the US government has dedicated some of its computing power towards bitcoin to back up the dollar but thats a long shot. He's probably right and were all gonna be real fucked real soon

The dollar is definitely going to be worthless soon though. My step-dad works in a union and he tells me about the young union members making $150k doing something really simple, these people turn around and buy overpriced everything from cars to houses on debt, and live the rest of their lives paycheck to pay check paying off debt. theres no way this is sustainable.
