https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2018-11-22/did-imf-reveal-cryptocurrency-new-world-order-end-game
>In 1988, The Economist, a globalist publication, “predicted” (or rather, announced) that a global currency system would be launched in the year 2018.
>It is now clear that crypto and the blockchain are that system. This system would eventually use the IMF’s Special Drawing Rights basket as a kind of bridge to a one world currency, which they referred to as the "Phoenix".
>the IMF already has a cryptocurrency mechanism ready to replace the dollar as world reserve, and that it will be infused into the SDR basket at the height of the coming crash. The fact that the IMF has been introducing central bank crypto talking points over the past year indicates to me that the crash is imminent.

Guys... looks like we got played. Worse - we played ourselves.

It's ETH and it's ecosystem, because it dumped the hardest and will rise like a phoenix from its ashes. It's been obvious for a while that ETH is the currency the whole market's been waiting for

BTC's LN is already here and gaining traction, but BTC has a fixed supply. ETH can be (is) inflationary and this is exactly what the glowinthedarks want, a monetary system where they control the minting output.

ETH drops 2 ETH per block now, prepare for that number to start increasing

No, I don't believe they actually created it. It first got big both here (well, /b/ and /g/) and on various cypherpunk forums. Any plan for world domination involving 4chan would have been ludicrous at the time, and crypto in general is just too meme-ish for a govt psyop. But - it's safe to say it got subverted. In all likelihood they had a similar plan, and then fortune smiled and gave them an even better, organically developed & plausibly deniable technology instead. The REAL Satoshi was probably knocked off. So now they just need to use their usual "Silent Weapons for Quiet Wars" tactics to prevent too many normies getting rich and prep the system to take over when fiat crumbles. Odds are they'd prefer if /biz/and similar autists leave as well, although in fact letting a few disgusting NEET become rich is probably fine since it gives even more deniability. So anyone still in is probably fine financially. Sucks that they get to keep ruling the planet though, but if I can not need to deal with day jobs & can have some nice toys etc I'll get over it.

Yeah, and that makes no sense. If it's not public it's no different to the current system, so there's no advantage. Whole point is that it'll be "independent". Good ol Btc, Xrp, Xlm or even Eth are the likely contenders.

People who think fiat money creators will buy their bags are retards. They create their own paper money, you think they won't be able to create their own crypto? Even if they were that incompetent, they could just copy one of the many open source projects and start their own network.
Peter Schiff was right, there is nothing inherently scarce about cryptos. Unlike gold. Any number of actors can create their own crypto.

This. The first space race was like the time BTC went from $1 to $30, then crashed to $2. A preview of the real show yet to come.

Crypto Kitties literally cucked the ETH network single handedly yet it somehow is viable for use as a global currency.

Yeah nah.

You're retarded to compare Cryptos to Gold. Bitcoin is Gold, not cryptos. Cryptos are like different metals are to gold. They are all metals but only gold is gold, just like only Bitcoin is Bitcoin.

oh but it was created by them. They've been after a cashless digital monetary system for a long time. Something like that cannot be imposed on the population, it has to be slowly adopted by the new generations. Crypto/public ledger will allow them to monitor every single transaction worldwide, so no one can avoid being taxed for example. As for the black market, it will weed out those without 'insider' connections that help them

oh holy fuck, they're gonna attach the SDR basket with smart contacts via chainlink. they wouldn't even have to fork any chains, they'd be able to pull days to and from the blockchain as necessary to their privately, securely held SDR Oracle (they wouldn't want it on the blockchain, only to use the blockchain as necessary)

link would unironically let the imf practically highjack any chain and use it to support their system.
