My soul is slowly disintegrating from being a wagecuck. I don't even open my blockfolio these days, because it just exacerbates my depression.

Does anyone have any stories/tips about """jobs""" where essentially did nothing all day, or you got away with doing nothing by pretending to be busy, and got paid pretty coin for it? I need some inspiration.

i was a doorman for about a year after. LIterally all I did was open the door for people. I had to stand up for 10 hours straight, but it was kind of comfy and I never had to take my work home with me.

I have an entry-level position in a library that I got by only having a four-year degree (though now the job requires a two-year technicians diploma in library science). I make 20 dollars an hour, and only work 18 hours a week. The only hard work I do involves talking to strangers occasionally, and most of my job amounts to checking out library materials to people.

People hardly talk to me, however, so I get to just sit around and do whatever I want most of the time. I'm at work right now as I make this post, and I browse sfw 4chan for a couple hours daily. Also, I'm the only male at my job, which is great if there's a couple of female coworkers your own age.

This. I spend tons of time and energy "looking busy" because my job is essentially helping an executive look busy. I think his wife is divorcing him soon .

Used to be a construction inspector for a state agency. On some days the contractor worked on our project. On most days they did not. On those days I literally did whatever I wanted.
>roll into work 7:20
>clock in for 7, log into outlook
>7:30 call the contractor and ask if they're working on my office's project today
>if they're not working, I have literally nothing to do, now I just have to stay in the office longer than my boss. I don't have to pretend to work or anything tho, just be there.
>it was normal for me to work for 3 or 4 days in a row and then nothing for 3 or 4 weeks
>fill out the report I have to write daily, today I'm doing "office work"
>it's 7:40, go to bathroom and sit for 20 minutes taking a phat shit
>8 o'clock, I leave to get "breakfast"
>sometimes I go to fill up the car, sometimes I go to home depot, sometimes I go to the mall to do some shopping, sometimes I go to autozone
>on Fridays back when my best friend sat at the desk next to me we would go smoke a joint together before getting breakfast, I still keep the Friday tradition alive, just alone since he got a better job
>get back to office 9 or 9:30 or 10, nobody cares
>walk past bosses office, 90% of time he's playing solitaire
>9:30 to 12:30 I spend doing anything. Some days I literally sleep at my desk for 2 or 3 full hours uninterrupted. Most of the time this is spent shitposting. Sometimes I watch Netflix. Ive literally installed a new battery in my car and vacuumed the interior in our parking lot
>boss leaves usually 12:15 or 12:30
>I follow suit 15 minutes later
>usually home by 1, still on the clock till 3:30

Your taxes went to covering about 250k yearly salary for the 4 guys in our office. In fact one of the guys in the office has 2 other jobs. Life was good but I left because starting pay was only 41k so not too good. But for your average unambitious neet, almost a wagecucking paradise. I miss it

I do literally nothing at my job except shitpost and think about trading. But I am still required to be on a construction site watching Mexicans work for up to 10 hours a day. It's not as great as you think. Unless you're a jew, easy jobs tend to pay the least.

If you have college degre it's quite easy. Best is some kind of project management or key account management in a big company and big department. If you manage it good, the others (or the customer himself) is doing the work and you just delegate. About 50% the day you do nothing. The other 50% you manage the shit and because of how relaxed you are, its quite fun. Important is that you keep looking busy and make friendships so you have fun next to it.
