Can someone give me the unadulterated QRD of the current situation with Bcash?

I have some BCH sitting on my primary Ledger Nano S, and
I'm not sure where to put it prior to the fork to maximize my holdings securely. Will I get burned if I don't do something properly? Should I move it to another wallet set-up or a different blank hardware wallet? What would /biz/ do?

How about you try speaking less like an NPC if you want some real insight into the hash war.
Here's a hint: nobody who understands what is actually going on is going to tell someone like you.

node implementation bitcoin ABC was trying to implement a new op code called Datasigverify (DSV) and canonical transaction ordering (CTOR).

Nchain created the node implementation Bitcoin Satoshis Vision (SV) in response to the above changes. SV aims to return bch to the protocol outlined in the bitcoin whitepaper.

The changes happen on november the 15th and so far it looks like hashpower is siding with SV

You control your private keys on a ledger so no worries but here is their write up https://www.ledger.fr/2018/10/30/upcoming-bitcoin-cash-fork-what-does-this-mean-for-you/

Spoken like a true pompous cashie. Your hashwar is irrelevant to me, I'm just here trying to maximize my BTC.

Thank you. Clear and concise.

I've seen this as well, currently 70%+ of the BCH hashrate if I remember.

Basically correct. But this is just the surface. Things are about to get very interesting.
