last I checked there's a bitcoin ETF, bitcoin bakkt, bitcoin has over 52% marketcap
chasing coins that alter bitcoin's properties is a waste of time
raising blocksize so giant nodes control the network just to open up some more base layer tx throughput is a horrible tradeoff for a temporary advantage and permanent disadvantage
nothing is going to compete with bitcoin unless something happens like a major exploit
