most pool's hashing is by people joining and those people joining expect block reward + mining fees - the pool's fee %
when a pool starts bragging about refusing mining fees they lose business

it is:
block reward + transaction fees (this pool takes 0% pool fee).
Transaction fees on most pow coins are really small compared to the block reward, we are talking ~1%. Since this pool is taking no fee, overall it makes it an interesting venue for people who are maximalist and want to see only one coin succeed (while milking the others as much as possible)
