I've heard Cape Town is cheap and nice, but can still be a bit dangerous. An old coworker was there for a wedding a while back. Dude was going out every night, buying clothes and random shit, drinks, dinners, the works. He said he spent about $500 in those two weeks. Kinda nuts how much spending power the dollar has over there.
